At 1:22 a.m. a sergeant reported debris in the road on Route 1 North by McDonald’s. The state DPW was notified.

At 9:43 a.m. a 911 caller reported he bought a vehicle from Route 1 Auto Sales and had a disagreement with management for returning it. Officers reported it was civil in nature and the parties agreed to work it out.

At 10:12 a.m. detectives reported arresting a male on the warrant charge of receiving stolen property.

At 11:13 a.m. a 911 caller reported the front door to a vacant home on Sussex Street was open. Officers checked the home and reported it appeared the wind blew the door open.

At 11:41 a.m. a male reported a past due rental to Avis car rental. The vehicle is a month overdue. The vehicle was entered into the system as stolen.

At 12:51 p.m. the animal control officer reported a water main break at the corner of Seagirt Avenue and Venice Avenue. The DPW was notified.

At 1:31 p.m. a walk-in reported her vehicle was damaged in the Jimmy’s Steer House parking lot.

At 1:33 p.m. Walmart loss prevention reported a past shoplifting.

At 3:45 p.m. police received a call for a tree limb down on wires on Fairmount Avenue. Firefighters removed the hazard from the power lines.

At 5:12 p.m. a caller from Florida reported someone in Saugus tried to buy three Iphones using the information on her T-Mobile account.
